SpamAssassin is a computer program used for email spam filtering. SpamAssassin uses a variety of spam-detection techniques, including DNS-based and fuzzy-checksum-based spam detection, Bayesian filtering, external programs, blacklists and online databases.
It is released under the Apache License 2.0 and is now part of the Apache Foundation. The program can be integrated with the mail server to automatically filter all mail for a site. It can also be run by individual users on their own mailbox and integrates with several mail programs. SpamAssassin is highly configurable.
If used as a system-wide filter it can still be configured to support per-user preferences.
The Panel Sewa or Cpanel SpamAssassin module provides the front end option to list the mail ids as either whitelist or wishes to be blacklisted. It avoids the mails to enter the mailboxes hosted on best VPS server.
The interface of apache SpamAssassin looks as below image.
In the above list, you can enter the desired mail id’s which you want to blacklist or whitelist.
You can also blacklist them in terms of their spam score.
Till what score you want to allow it you can select it from the drop-down menu available.
In the next option, you will have the option to enable it and even discard also.
The SpamAssassin works as per the above-mentioned method.
